About the 'Fixa'

I'm the senior Photo 'Fixa', and I'm deeply passionate about my work in photography, art and digital photo enhancement. My experience includes; 

• Award winning - First Prize - Visual Art - painting.
• Award winning - First Prize - Monochrome Infrared Photography.
• Award winning - First Prize -  Monochrome Photo.
• Nikon School of Photography - Traditional dark room processing.
• Diploma of Photography (part time) - extensive training in Photoshop/Lightroom, Colour-B+W darkroom processing. Studio lighting and portraiture. 
• Photo dry mounting - framing.
• Extensive use of traditional vintage analogue cameras - 70 year old+ including a pin-hole camera,  German Franka Solida Bellows, Leica, Hasselblad, Rolleiflex, Pentax,  early manual Nikons.
• Extensive Use of Digital multi-format cameras           

My inspiration:

Early 19th-century French-born Master Photographer Henri Cartier-Bresson encapsulates my philosophy to photography perfectly when he said, 'it is an illusion that photos are made with the camera; moreover, they are made with the eye, heart, head, AND the camera.'
