Why is photo restoration expensive? There are many factors to be considered:

• Image restoration is the art of editing out damaged parts of the photo and replicating the original contents back to, as near as possible, the original. This can take hours if the damage is significant. To retouch an image, the re-toucher must have years of experience with digital programmers such as Photoshop and Lightroom and possess advanced skills to be able to fully utilise the tools of these very powerful platforms. Perhaps most importantly there are few numbers of r-touchers with the highly honed skills. 

• Can I send a framed image to photo fixa?

             Yes, but it is preferable to send an unframed image or negative or USB. 

• Can photo fixa arrange for an image to reprinted. Yes. We do in-house photo prints up to A3 sheet size to scale.

• Can photo fixa arrange for an image to be professionally framed?

        Yes. We have good working relationships with highly skilled framers. 

• Can I send a negative to photo fixa instead of the original image

   Yes. We scan negatives and colour transparencies
